I booked my language trip to Australia with The Language House and I highly recommend them! From the very beginning until the end, they were very proactive and always did their best to support me with any questions or needs (which is the main reason why I chose them from the start). In preparation for the IELTS Academic exam, I took a 7.5-hour course with Sue. The lessons were well-structured and thoughtfully tailored to my specific needs. Sue taught me how to identify and approach tricky questions, introduced useful exam strategies, and gave me valuable feedback on minor mistakes, making me feel confident ahead of the exam. In the end, I achieved a 7.5 band score – more than I had hoped for – which enabled me to pursue a Master's degree in the heart of London. I would highly recommend Sue as a teacher and sincerely thank both her and Garry for their support.

The Language House is the right place to improve your English in Geneva. And Garry is the right man to get people excited about speaking the language of Shakespeare. Private lessons with Garry are very lively and rewarding. At the end of each lesson I feel I've learnt much more than in any other course I've taken. It's a far cry from 'school' training where you're asked to swallow lists of words or phrases you'll never use... Classes are tailored to your pace and interests. Discussions are varied and fascinating. News, literature, cinema, music, philosophy and… Anglo-saxon culture of course! Last but not least, Garry has a great sense of humour! I highly recommend.

I spent two amazing weeks in Riversdown House, fully immersed in the beautiful English countryside. The teaching was almost entirely tailored to my needs, delivered by highly skilled teachers. The atmosphere was so warm and welcoming! Huge thanks to the whole Riversdown team — and especially to Caroline, who has turned this stunning place into a true home away from home.

I’m living the best experience of my life here in Noosa, Australia. This wouldn’t have been possible without Trudi from The Language House.
