The restaurant is beautiful, stunning interior. But let’s talk about the food, the experience was amazing and the food was delicious! Also the presentations of each dish was 10/10. Would definitely return here.

Un superbe restaurant italien à Genève. Le cadre est très chic, avec une belle décoration. Nous avions pris le menu, tout était délicieux et peut-être même un peu trop copieux. Le service était impeccable. Nous recommandons absolument !

An unbeatable buffet brunch experience. You really just want to eat it all. The presentation is impeccable and the food itself is top notch. A special thank you to the door man at the Ritz Carlton who directed us here as the Living Room at the Ritz was fully booked. An even extra big thank you to the door man at The Four Seasons who ushered us in on arrival and took us straight to Il Lago because he knew the experience we were looking for.

Unbelievable experience. From the service to the food and atmosphere it was an experience. Our host was amazing and she was accompanied by a full team who helped select wines and drinks and made sure our every need was met. The food was to die for. You MUST experience this for yourself!

Restauracja na prawdę przeciętna. Jestem zawiedziona, bo przeglądając zdjęcia, miałam nadzieję na coś wyjątkowego. Wizualnie nie czuję rozczarowania, wręcz przeciwnie, prezencja dań była wspaniała. Jakość potraw średnia. Połączenia składników nieszczególnie trafione. Przykro mi to stwierdzić, ale to było najgorsze wydanie turbota, z jakim się spotkałam i jakiego miałam okazję smakować. Ani panierka, ani sos, nie współgrały z tą rybą. Vitello Tonnato smaczne, ale w innych resturacjach to danie smakowało mi dużo bardziej. Szczerze mówiąc prawdziwie bez zarzutu był tylko chlebek. Najchętniej zabrałabym kilka takich do domu. Pyszny, świeży, z oliwkami i oliwą. Obsługa w porządku, stara się być do usług i realnie służy pomocą. Doceniam takie zaangażowanie. Atmosfera miejsca bardzo dobra i tak też się czułam. Z resztą, nie można czuć się inaczej w takim przepięknym wnętrzu! Doskonałe malarstwo! Można tak sobie siedzieć i podziwiać nawet samemu, bo brak tworzystwa nie doskwiera w takiej przestrzeni. Może kiedyś dam jeszcze szansę Il Lago i zajrzę. Tymczasem nie jest to topowa restauracja w Genevie, jak mi się wcześniej wydawało.

We are staying at the Four Seasons Geneva and ordered Il Lago into our room, it was absolutely tremendous. This 1 Michelin star restaurant delivers on every level. Highly recommend and would absolutely go back. The ingredients were of the absolute highest quality. I’ve spent weeks in Italy and have dined at many fine restaurants, this was some of the freshest tasting pasta I’ve ever had. The burrata was exceptional as well. Also, order the tiramisu and the strawberry dessert. They were both incredible. If staying at the hotel, you absolutely must book this restaurant. If the service and quality was this good as room service, imagine how amazing it must be in the restaurant. The enter staff was flawless. 10/10

Overall pleasant lunch, great service and attentive. As advice I suggest to not sit close to the entrance as I asked to close the door due to the noise from the bar but they said that the entrance had to stay open... The food is high quality, well presented small portions, I personally liked everything except the tiramisu that I would have kept on a traditional way, this kind of semifreddo was not tasty and difficult to eat. Instead very suggested is the affogato!! Overall I recommend but for the price, I was a little upset by these two aforementioned things.
