Le Baroque Club - Genève

Expérience très décevante Nous avions réservé une table pour 8 personnes (1600 CHF) au Baroque Club. Dans les échanges préalables, on nous a précisé que " l’établissement se réserve le droit d’entrée ", mais sur quel critère ? Une fois sur place, aucun accueil cordial (même pas un bonsoir) et on nous a simplement dit que " ça n’allait pas être possible ", sans autre explication. Après une réservation confirmée et un engagement financier important, ce manque de professionnalisme et de transparence est inacceptable

Cela faisait longtemps que je n’allais plus dans les Club mais….. Le Baroque Genève est un mini temple du gros son et surtout, lorsque l’on arrive à inviter Bob Sinclar, c’est une référence! Une Team au top, des patrons et un gérant au Top! Un son bien gros et envoûtant ! Une ambiance envoûtante animée par des passionnés de la fête ! Bob est venu, il a fêté son anniversaire et à tenu ses promesses. Bravo au Baroque Genève pour mettre de l’ambiance et apporter de la joie et de la danse.

Bought a ticket for Bob Sinclair 1 month before the event. Waited for 1.5 hours in line to get in, and at 2 am we were told that there was not enough place to get in so we should stand in another line for getting a reimbursement. The bouncer managing the tables at the entrance is not professional and insulted me. Curious to see if I get my money back.

Une expérience honteuse – discrimination flagrante ! Nous sommes venus spécialement de Bruxelles pour passer un week-end à Genève et voir Gims. Nous avions réservé une table une semaine à l’avance, tout était confirmé. À notre arrivée au Baroque Club Genève, le videur nous a humiliés avec des remarques ouvertement racistes et déplacées. Malgré le fait que nous étions 4 hommes et 4 femmes, il a prétexté qu’il "n’y avait pas assez de filles" pour nous laisser entrer, alors qu’il était clair que notre couleur de peau était le vrai problème. Nous avons très bien compris quelle clientèle ce club privilégie – une bourgeoisie blanche – et combien ce genre de comportement est toxique et rétrograde. Ce genre d’attitude est inacceptable et illégal. Nous tenons à préciser que notre collègue a filmé et enregistré l’intégralité de la scène, y compris les propos discriminatoires du videur, et nous nous réservons le droit de porter plainte. Baroque Club Genève devrait avoir honte d’employer du personnel aussi discriminatoire, qui détruit l’image du club et de la ville de Genève. Nous ne remettrons plus jamais les pieds dans cet établissement, et nous le déconseillons vivement à toutes celles et ceux qui refusent les injustices et la discrimination.

We bought tickets months ago for bob Sinclair. Basically you have to arrive 6 hours in advance to even get it. After waiting 2 hours, they told us not enough replace and to wait in another line to get a reimbursement. Then they make you wait for reimbursement. Forget about booking here unless you want to wait and never get in

I had a disappointing experience at The Baroque. From the start, the security staff came across as extremely arrogant, acting as if they held positions of major authority, which felt unnecessary and unwelcoming. Inside, the club itself wasn’t anything special — the atmosphere and music were average at best. What really stood out, however, was the lack of proper supervision. I saw several guests smoking indoors and behaving inappropriately towards women, with no reaction from the security team. A group of girls even had to come near us to get away from uncomfortable advances. Meanwhile, the security seemed much more focused on chatting with drunk young women than doing their actual job. This selective attention and lack of professionalism left a very negative impression. Definitely not a place I’d recommend or return to.

I’ve been coming here for quite some time and want to share my experience. Security is usually friendly and professional and wait times aren’t too long when there aren’t any special events. The place embodies a luxury atmosphere but is pretty limited with tables taking majority of the space while the dance floor is small. While the bar is long, spreading across the side of the room, there is only one bartender at a time. I recommend getting a few drinks at once as it can take up to an hour to order. The bartender is very slow and it’s quite disappointing that the bar space isn’t being used to its full extent after all this time. The woman’s bathroom has two stalls but they almost never have any toilet paper and both are usually quite dirty. The man’s bathroom (according to my boyfriend) is even dirtier with no private stalls at all. The music is diverse and I recommend checking their Insta for DJs and music type of the night as they vary. The biggest issue that I’ve had with Baroque are the lights. Usually, and in every other club I’ve been to, lights flicker during a beat drop but here they never really stop. Since the place is small, dancing on the actual dance floor is next to impossible without almost having a seizure. It’s to the point you get dizzy, blind and nauseous. It’s so frustrating as this issue is so easily solvable. While there are clearly some noticeable flaws, this is the only luxury club in Geneva who guarantees the level of class and safety that many look for here.
