Do You Often See People Crying in a Hair Salon? I wish this was a metaphor - but it’s not. I went to Le Bal des Créateurs in Geneva for a full hair transformation: cut + color. The appointment was scheduled for 13h00 to 18h00, with an estimated total cost of around 600 CHF. Six days before, I visited the salon & I paid 250 CHF in advance, had a consultation where I clearly discussed both the haircut and the color I was aiming for & they saw my current hair condition. The day of the appointment, I arrived at 13h15, 15 minutes late. First, the haircut was done by a lovely female stylist who was polite & efficient. She asked about the desired length, cut a bit, and confirmed with me before continuing. Honestly, this was the best part of the whole experience. After 15min the Stylist for color came & I showed him the reference (Photo 1). He told me that the color I wanted was too bright for my current hair (Photo 2), and that the result would necessarily be *darker* than my expectation. First Red Flag: The decolorization turned out extremely strong and aggressive, leaving my hair fragile, white, and visibly burned. They applied color and after a treatment in the washing room. There were no mirrors, so I asked the assistant how the result looked. She answered vaguely - "it’s much brighter, there’s a big change." I informed that I was supposed to rush after to an event and asked if we were done by 18h15 - They said yes. Only once I sat back in the chair to dry my hair did I see it: an unnatural, uneven yellow-greenish-orange-gold-white mix (Photo 3). Not only far from the reference - but the opposite of what they said I could expect (darker). I was stunned in silence. It was 18h15, and my hair was still wet and clearly damaged - wiry to the touch, frizzy, unhealthy. While I was still speechless in the chair in shock, I even forgot how late I was for my event. I just couldn't unsee that I was yellow-white.. The stylist reappeared just to take photos. I paid without thinking & walked out… and burst into tears in the middle of the street. I called my friend and sent him pictures. Something felt very wrong. I went back to the reception, shaking, and showed the original inspiration vs. what I had on my head. They said they’d call the stylist and "look for a solution." I told them I need fresh air outside." My friend soon arrived and showed them the photos again. The response was: "We're working on it, it’s all good." But if they knew it was wrong, why did they let me leave like that at all? A staff member came outside saying, again, "We’ll fix it, it’s all good." I stood in front of their glass door, saw my reflection, and started crying again. They took me back in to recolor. It felt chaotic. Several people were applying things - no one explained what they were using or doing. I was trembling. One Assistant finally asked, "Are you okay?" I tell her to call my friend. Imagine this scene: I’m crying in the washing chair, my friend is holding my hand, someone washing my hair, and other customers walk smiling in and freeze - clearly uncomfortable. I finally left the salon at 20h40, I did not paid for Color Fix + second treatment! In total, I paid 761 CHF: They added the consultation fee at the appointment day - despite having already discussed everything 6 days before. They also charged 40 CHF for a hair treatment that was agreed afterwards. I ended up with emotional distress, damaged hair, wasted time: 7.5h , and a high level of stress. I missed the event, paid a huge bill & left with an overall deeply unpleasant experience, trauma, and hair so damaged it may take years to recover. On top of everything, I now have to invest even more money into treatments to try to repair what was burned and broken during this visit. I’ll never forget the moment I cried inside a luxury salon. If you are considering Le Bal des Créateurs for color: Be cautious, ask questions, and do not mistake their branding or attitude for guaranteed professionalism. Because no one should leave a salon in tears!!!

J’ai été coiffée et ai reçu une couleur par Shannon, la coloriste du salon en avril dernier. Elle a été super: à l’écoute de mes envies, m’a présenté les différentes possibilités, et m’a très bien conseillée. Je suis vraiment très très contente du résultat, elle a coiffé/coupé ma frange comme personne de l’avait fait avant (très difficile à traiter car épis). Le résultat 4 mois plus tard est encore très satisfaisant après l’été. petit point négatif mais pas négligeable, d’où l’étoile en moins qui n’est pas relié à son travail mais plutôt au prix…(360.-) vraiment vraiment très élevé pour ce que j’ai l’habitude de payé (déjà élevé de base pour une coupe femme), malgré le prix étudiant. Cependant le résultat me convient mieux que partout ailleurs où je suis allée auparavant..

Je suis vraiment contente du travail de Shannon sur mes mèches blondes. Elle a été très pro, douce et à l’écoute, en prenant le temps de bien faire les choses. Elle m’a aussi donné de bons conseils pour entretenir mes cheveux. Elle a vraiment fait en sorte que je sois au top pour mon mariage. Merci encore !

Ravie du résultat avec un balayage ultra-naturel réalisé par Cyril, se fondant dans ma teinte naturelle et très jolie coupe avec plein de conseils précieux de Mélisa dont je n’avais jamais eu connaissance avant pour l’entretien des cheveux ondulés ou bouclés!! Encore un grand merci à tous les deux pour leurs mains expertes!!

Sublime résultat! Et c'est peu dire! L'espace porte bien son nom! C'était pas gagné d'avance, mon cas était très complex, cheveux long, racines de noiraude poivre et sel avec en bout une ancienne coloration couleur cherry bien tenace! J'ai demandé un miracle et mon souhait a été majestueusement exaucé! C'est Shannon qui c'est magnifiquement et ingénieusement occupée de moi, soutenue par une team des plus pro. Le challenge était exigeant. Je voulais du changement, stylé, original et pointu! Une nouvelle couleur, une nouvelle tête. Du silver avec en pointe une bande bleu violine foncé. Mais après une bonne coupe (-15cm et plus) 2x decolo et autre traitement délicat, (+ de 4,5hr) difficile d'éliminer le cherry red incrusté sur certaines parties et longueurs. Shannon à trouvé des solutions, harmoniser et foncer les racines, patine et mèches plus foncées comme ma couleur naturelle pour faire oublier l'ancienne teinte. Même si je n'ai pas tout à fait ce que je voulais, le résultat est dingue, sublime! Je pourrais attendre l'objectif dans quelques mois quand ils auront poussé. En tout, cela a pris presque 7hr, coupe, traitements décolo, 4 shampoings, soins post traitements .. séchage, coiffage... quel travail méticuleux, quelle patience, incroyable! Je me réjouis de la suite et en attendant, je kiff déjà tellement le résultat! Au final, la transition est plus douce! C'est génial!
