City Hostel Geneva

I stayed in this hostel just for one night but I had a very pleasant experience. The hostel is very close to the city center, in a very good position. The room and the bathroom were very clean and everything was well organized. They also provided me with the Geneva Transport Card which allowed me to use the public transport services for free. This hotel was definitely a good choice

Ja w ogóle nie rozumiem negatywnych opinii na temat tego miejsca.Ja jestem w pełni zadowolona.Korzystalam z pokoju 1-os za który zapłaciłam w recepcji 74franki.Na dole znajduje się duża wyposażona kuchnia oraz małe patio. Jest czysto, pokoje mają okna (nie ma numerów z pokojami w piwnicy jak to niestety czasem bywa), nie śmierdzi i nie ma pluskiew.Lokalizacja jest bardzo dobra, bardzo blisko do lidla oraz dworca. Goście otrzymują kartę na przejazdy (w formie elektronicznej) Nie ma klimy ale mi jej nie brakuje.W oknach są okiennice a w pokoju wiatraki. W pokojach jest również umywalka.Jest winda.Internet działa bardzo dobrze. Mozna zostawić bagaż jeśli masz później lot.Miej swoją kłódkę lub możesz wypożyczyć za 10 franków które zostaną ci oddane po zwrocie kłódki.Polecam ten nocleg, nic lepszego nie znajdziecie w Genewie za te pieniądze.Negatywne komentarze są złośliwe.

Visiting geneva for a short meeting found a hostel with reasonable rate and basic but practical set up. Booked a private single room without tv but with sink. T/B and shower stalls are shared and clean all the time. Wifi easy to connect and strong enough for vvoip. Bed was comfy,no a/c but table fan kept the room cool at night. Elevator for 4 floors but got a 1st floor room which was easy w/o using elevator. Ground floor dining indoor and small open air patio linked to a common kitchen. Basement washer/dryer for 9 chf per load were useful amenities. Location is about 3- 4 blocks from gare cornavin and a line 15 metro stop a few meters away. Coop,denner, migros and Lidl are 1-2 blocks away. All in all a great value for money in hotel- expensive Geneva!

Cheap for Geneva but still very expensive for an hostel and a bad nights sleep. No air con which left the room very warm. Curtains are transparent see through so don't actually keep any light out and the shutters on the windows don't extend all the way up to let more air in resulting in all the traffic noise outside keeping you awake as well as the room sun pouring in at 5am. Bed was comfy but the pillows aren't great, left me with a very sore neck. Was shown as the last cheapest bed in the hostel when I booked but it turns out there was another spare bed in the room with no one in it. Showers and toilets are kept fairly clean and the water is warm and powerful. Kitchen was great for cooking food. Checking in and out very easy and the lockers are very large for my big suitcase which was great. Would only recommend if you are doing 1 night stay on a super tight budget and don't mind a terrible sleep.

In an expensive city, this budget choice was a relief to find. It is good value for money and well located about a 7 minute walk from the train station with lots of restaurants in easy walking distance. It is about 20/25 minutes walking from the prettier spots of Geneva centre. We booked two single rooms, both were fine, not too small and had a nice big sink each. The staff member in reception was happy to check us in a couple of hours early which was much appreciated. The place seemed pretty clean, and felt safe. Less positively, there are heavy metal grills on the windows instead of curtains or glass which is a bit odd & makes it feel like a cell, and I'm not sure if it makes it very cold in winter (the temperature was fine in May). Also, the shared amenities were old fashioned, not enough toilets or showers on each floor (especially compared to more modern hostels I've stayed in), and there were no soap dispensers/provisions in the toilets or paper towels etc. The kitchen facilities were minimal & unappealing, closed in the evening/overnight and no glasses or crockery were allowed to leave the kitchen. Overall though, it was a decent budget stay, especially if you have a private room

這是一間青年旅館，廁所要在房間外面與其他人共用，不分男女。淋浴間不是每一格的水壓都足夠，選擇用哪一間浴間前，可以先試試水壓。房間裏有一種特別的味道（類似潮濕的味道？），但不是令人反感的，反而有一種懷念的感覺（令人回想起以前住大學宿舍）。房間內沒有冷氣，只有一把風扇，不過日內瓦的天氣比較清涼，也不算很大問題。需要留意的地方是：房間的空間比較少，如果兩個人都各有一個大行李箱，未必有足夠的空間把他們都打開（但稍微取下整理一下空間，也會有足夠的位置打開行李箱）地下有共用廚房，基本的廚具應有盡有，但使用前記得要清洗乾淨，調味料（油、鹽）也要自己準備/問其他住客借。會看到來自不同國籍的人一起在廚房烹調，雖然通常各有各準備食物/吃東西，但難得出外，也可以嘗試向他們搭話，是在外面認識新朋友的好地方。地理位置尚算接近車站（步行大概十分鐘可以到達火車站），而且只有居住在日內瓦的酒店，城市內的交通都是免費的，也可以搭巴士到車站，節省精力，但也要留意時間，因為班次不算頻密。旅館的大堂旁邊有一個隱蔽的升降機，接待的員工並沒有告訴我們，讓我們以為只能走樓梯，幸好同行的人比較強壯，能夠幫忙把行李箱抬上樓，我們離開的那日才發現，原來是有升降機的（比較舊式的那種，升降機門外型就像一間普通的房門，要自己開門）

Junio 2025. ARGENTINA. SOLA. Buena experiencia. Un lugar limpio. Estuve en habitación compartida mixta y fue buena experiencia. La higiene muy bien. Te dan sábanas y toalla. Los baños bien un poco pequeños pero destacó la limpieza. Esta muy bien ubicado y buen precio. Lo recomiendo si estas buscando solo dormir en ginebra en una corta estadía.
