What an unexpectedly fantastic walking tour. We only had a day in Geneva and nothing planned until I saw this generous offer to join the free tour. Our guide Jeremiah holds a History PhD and enthusiastically held the group of us active for 2 hours with the historical context and stories. We learned so much about the city which would’ve been lost on us had we strolled around on our own. Pls tip the guides - this NGO does great work!
Jeremiah was absolutely amazing! So articulate and knowledgeable with very entertaining stories. He was quite tolerant of the two toddlers we brought with us and took time to accommodate our slower pace. Merci beaucoup, Jeremiah!
Jorge was amazing. Very knowledgeable in history, philosophy, arts and funny! Attentive, sincere and passionate. Willing to answer any questions including food and good value chocolates. Very helpful quick 2hr tour, highly recommend it!
Tuve la suerte de hacer una visita guiada con Jorge y fue una experiencia excepcional. Conoce su tema a la perfección y sabe transmitirlo con pasión. Gracias a él, no solo se camina por las calles, sino también por la Historia, con todo el contexto que permite comprender realmente Ginebra. Sus anécdotas, su experiencia y su manera de contar hacen la visita viva, cautivadora y accesible para todos. Excellent English tour of Geneva from Alexandra!! We saw everything in old town and she was super engaging. It was raining most of the tour and Alexandra stopped in drier spots to keep us out of the rain. Highly recommend this tour as an introduction to Geneva! (Tips encouraged)
We had a great tour with the best guide ever, a young Danish lady who showed us around on an entertaining way.
