Initium

Highlight of our trip to Geneva! Initium was really fun. I went with a no battery winding watch. Something about learning how watches work then putting one together creates a great connection with the final piece. I'm in love with my new watch. I haven't worn a watch for years and I figured this would be a great way to get back into them, and it sure was. The watchmakers were super nice, easy to work with. The shop is in a great part of town. The option for making your watch allow you to create something that will stand out as unique and personally yours. I love mine!

What a Fun and Memorable Experience! We had a great morning at Initium, where my husband had the opportunity to create his own watch. Each of the three staff members were very nice, patient, and had a great sense of humor. I would highly recommend booking one of their watchmaking sessions. Not only did we have an enjoyable experience, my husband now has a watch that has great memories attached to it.

My full day Initium watch making class was wonderful! Quentin and Lydie were very gracious and knowledgeable. They gave the history of Swiss watch making and also hands on experience disassembling and assembling a watch. It was fascinating! I highly recommend this class to anybody with a desire for a basic understanding of watch making. Thanks!!

Superbe expérience. C’est passionnant de découvrir le fonctionnement d’une montre mécanique et c’est bluffant de se mettre à l’atelier ! Les pièces sont minuscules, il faut de la précision, de la patience et être adroit amis on est accompagné et conseillé tout le temps. Super !!

I had a wonderful experience at Initium in Geneva! Our hostess, You, greeted us warmly. I took the class with Quentin, who made the whole process both fun and educational. I learned so much about watchmaking, created some great memories, and now have a beautiful watch that I built myself. This was truly an unforgettable experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Geneva or interested in Swiss watchmaking.

Initium Genève - 28.01.2025 - atelier matinée Accueil très sympathique et chaleureux. Expérience enrichissante et passionnante. Je suis reparti avec ma montre dont j'ai choisi tous les composants et réalisé, en très grande partie, l'assemblage final. Un grand merci à vous pour cette superbe et inoubliable matinée et, plus particulièrement, à Quentin mon maître horloger personnel Je ne peux que recommander cette expérience et encourager les indécis à franchir le pas...

Superbe expérience! Nous avons participer au cours d’initiation à l’horlogerie de 3h. Un accueil juste merveilleux par Mélissa et Quentin l’horloger. Nous sommes accueil d’abord par un petit déjeuner avec des viennoiseries et café (ou thé…) Nous avons ensuite un cours théorique avec l’horloger, qui est très intéressant! Et nous passons ensuite au démontage et remontage d’un mouvement de montre, c’était vraiment une super expérience! Nous repartons avec des superbe photos faite par Mélissa, ce qui nous fait un super souvenirs! Nous repartons avec quelques cadeaux initium aussi Expérience à faire!! Merci encore Quentin et Mélissa!
